• Broadest nematode resistance
• Fast establisher and strong producer
• Adaptable to many soils
• Replanting nematode infested sites

Limitations:

• Very intolerant of virus
• Low salinity tolerance
• Perceived as a "valley stock"

Successful Applications:

• Major rootstock for Lodi-Woodbridge and Northern Salinas Valley
• Best choice available for broad nematode resistance

Should be tried and tested for:

• Non fumigated replanting sites
• Production/split canopy programs statewide
• High magnesium soils (North Coast)

There are better alternatives for:

• High density/ultra premium programs on vigorous sites
• Alkali soils and high sodium areas
• Very sandy soils
• Virused budwood or budwood of unknown history
